Narative
The Romanian Journal of Rheumatology (RJR), or Revista Română de Reumatologie, was founded in 1992 by Prof. Stefan Suteanu. Over time, under the umbrella of the Romanian Society of Rheumatology (Societatea Romana de Reumatologie) it evolved into a modern, up-to-date academic and editorial project. Today, the RJR is a highly regarded scientific journal known for its high-quality content, impartial article selection, and meticulous peer review process. The journal maintains top editorial, graphic, and printing standards.
The journal enhances its scientific rigor by prioritizing the quality of published material, with a peer review process overseen by renowned rheumatology experts who adhere to international academic and ethical standards.
RJR publishes original research, review articles, case reports, and letters to the editor covering diverse topics in rheumatology and its subspecialties. The journal issues 4 publications annually, along with supplementary issues, in electronic formats, with an average time of 4 weeks from submission to publication.
The Romanian Journal of Rheumatology plays a pivotal role in advancing medical practice and promoting continuing medical education, serving as a key tool for both rheumatologists and the broader medical community. It provides a platform for the dissemination of high-quality research in the field of rheumatology, helping to elevate the expertise of specialists and align Romanian rheumatology with international standards.
